Item 4 — Advisory Business
Meridian Venture Partners provides comprehensive financial planning and investment management services. Our advisory services include portfolio construction and management, retirement planning, tax planning strategies, estate planning coordination, insurance analysis, and education funding strategies.
We tailor our services to the individual needs, investment objectives, and financial circumstances of each client. Clients may impose reasonable restrictions on investing in certain securities or types of securities.
Item 5 — Fees and Compensation
Advisory fees are based on a percentage of assets under management and are typically billed quarterly in advance. Fee schedules are negotiable based on household assets, complexity, and other factors. A detailed fee schedule is provided in the advisory agreement.
In addition to our advisory fees, clients may incur brokerage commissions, transaction fees, custodian fees, mutual fund and ETF expense ratios, and other charges imposed by third parties. These fees are separate from and in addition to our advisory fee.
Item 6 — Performance-Based Fees
Meridian Venture Partners does not charge performance-based fees (fees based on a share of capital gains or capital appreciation of client assets).
Item 7 — Types of Clients
We provide services to individuals, high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, estates, charitable organizations, corporations, pension and profit-sharing plans, and other business entities.
Item 8 — Methods of Analysis, Investment Strategies, and Risk of Loss
Our investment approach relies on fundamental analysis, technical analysis, and modern portfolio theory. We construct diversified portfolios using a combination of equities, fixed income, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and alternative investments appropriate to each client's risk tolerance and objectives.
All investments carry risk, including the potential loss of principal. Market conditions, economic factors, and individual company performance can affect the value of your investments. Past performance is not a guarantee of future results.
